Locrian ♯2
Introduction
Locrian ♯2 is the sixth mode of the Melodic Minor scale. It offers a softened, more playable version of the Locrian mode by replacing its harsh ♭2 with a more consonant major 2nd.
Structure
Formula: 1, 2, ♭3, 4, ♭5, ♭6, ♭7
Interval formula: W – H – W – H – W – W – W
